I cannot begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our day with George at Dreamkeepers! It was an absolute highlight of our trip. George is a dapper gentleman, who knows the area inside and out. He clearly has great, personal relationships with the places we toured, which made each moment that much more special. We felt very safe and very comfortable the whole day. George picked us up in his Mercedes sedan from our Quinta in the Douro Valley, took us to two wineries with tastings, a phenomenal typical Portuguese lunch, and on a robalo boat along the river before returning us to our Quinta.
George even recommended a stellar restaurant for us for our last night in Porto, and went so far as to arrange reservations for us. What a treat. George is a wealth of knowledge and an absolute joy to spend the day with. I feel so fortunate that our paths crossed. I feel like we met a new friend!

We enjoyed our 1/2 day trip to Aveiro from Porto. Jorge Porfirio was very friendly, interesting and informative about Portugal and the areas we traveled through. Jorge spoke English very well. His car was comfortable and clean. He included a taste of Port on the river cruise and local pastries. We highly recommend Portugal Tours by Dreamkeeper.

What an amazing day with lovely strangers who became friends, including our incredibly knowledgeable guide Jorge. Everything went smoothly with transportation but it’s a tight fit for 8 people in the van. Most beautiful wineries and wine region, absolutely stunning. Wine, port and olive oil tastes were delicious, lunch was fantastic, guide was always there when you needed him but never obtrusive. I especially enjoyed getting to know, drink and dine with my fellow tourists and guide. Truly memorable experience.

Exceptionnel ! Parcours à faire obligatoirement. Une vue époustouflante et des visites de caves avec un accueil très chaleureux. In summary: A wonderful day. Jorge picked us up on time at our hotel and drove us to the starting point of our ECO tour. On the way he gave us various facts about Portugal and the surrounding area. In a small pretty village he dropped us off and showed us the route for our hike. Afterwards we explored the path ourselves and experienced a beautiful landscape. The path is relatively flat and shaded most of the time. There are many animals and plants to discover on the way and also one or the other small waterfall can be found. After 6 kilometers Jorge was waiting for us with a huge picnic, there were local delicacies, many even homemade and afterwards we jumped into the river to cool down. It was wonderful and Jorge was a wonderful guide. Afterwards, Jorge drove us back to Porto through some beautiful countryside and we also had a coffee on the way. He really cares about giving a unique beautiful experience. We can only recommend it!
